In each issue of Healing Word, we seek to share some fun words and some wise words. Ironically, in most cases they are one and the same. On the one hand, fun stuff generally makes us laugh at ourselves or our circumstances – that’s a wise thing to do. On the other hand, wise words often reveal some of the absurdities in life – which frees us to have more fun. What is more, if you are unwell or having problems, whether emotionally or physically, the evidence suggests that the wise thing to do is to have more fun and to fill your world with enjoyable and loving people. Our wish, therefore, is that you may be an enjoyable and loving person in the lives of others. That’s the wise thing to do for yourself and for them.
